In Conjunction with Carry the Light Children’s Home, our organization is requesting for a donation from families, friends and well-wishers with humanity at heart to help them care for existing children at the orphanage.
The orphanage supports 75 children who are at the age between 9yrs to 21yrs. Among them, 30 children are orphans who are housed at the orphanage hence fully dependent on the orphanage support. Forty-five children’s are vulnerable children with a single parent or a guardian, who partially depend on the orphanage support inform of education and meals at school during the day at school.
These are children whose family members are economically incapacitated and therefore are not able to able to afford the cost of basics like Education.
JUSTIFICATION
Studies carried out by scholars and stakeholders indicates that because of high death rate due to pandemic, a large number of children are being orphaned at a very tender age when they are unable to fend themselves with their siblings.
These bring to our concern to seek for financial support in order to help these wonderful kids to help restore hope and build their dream and potential.
The orphanage has its own school to support the education of the children supported by it, which also act as source of revenue for children out of the program who pays fees to get knowledge on the same school.
High school has been built but needs finishing. due the financial constraints, the administration is not in a position to complete and therefore we hope that donations in future will help the finishing and this will bring a great impact on the children to acquire knowledge of O' Level with ease.
